PASAY CITY, 필리핀 - 이민국(BI)은 외국인에게 이민 서비스를 제공하는 사기꾼에 대해 또 다른 경고를 발령했습니다.

성명에서 BI 커미셔너 "Norman Tansingco"는 BI 관련 문서를 수정할 것을 제안하는 사기꾼에 대한 이전 경고를 되풀이했습니다.

이 경보는 Ninoy Aquino International Airport(NAIA)와 BI 본부에서 두 차례에 걸쳐 분리된 후 발생했습니다.

 10월 25일 NAIA 제1터미널에서 BI 공항 관계자들이 가짜 출국 허가증을 제시한 미국인을 가로막았다.

임시 방문 비자로 6개월 이상 국내에 체류하는 외국인은 출국 허가를 받아야 합니다.

BI에 따르면 회사는 신청서의 일부로 가짜 AEP(외국인 고용 허가)를 제출했다. AEP는 PWP 발급을 위한 전제 조건입니다.

36건의 신청이 거부되었으며 해당 사례는 BI의 법무 부서로 전달되어 청원자와 신청자를 위한 조치를 시작했습니다.

탠싱코 측은 "외국인에게 불법적인 제안을 이용하지 말라고 경고한다"고 말했다. 그는 "전국에 약 60개의 사무실을 두고 있으며, 사람들에게 더 가깝게 서비스를 확장하고 있다. 이민법을 준수하지 않는 데에는 변명의 여지가 없다"고 덧붙였다.

[11.11] BI intercepts fake docs, warns of scammers offering services

PASAY CITY, Philippines  - the Bureau of Immigration  (BI) has issued another warning about scammers providing immigration services to foreigners.

In a statement, BI Commissioner "Norman Tansingco" reiterated earlier warnings against fraudsters suggesting that BI-related documents be amended.

The alert comes after two separate interceptions at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and BI headquarters.

 On October 25, at NAIA Terminal 1, BI airport officials intercepted an American citizen who presented a fake exit permit.

Foreigners staying in the country for more than six months on a temporary visitor visa must obtain an exit permit.

Upon verification with their centralized database, it was found that no such clearance was issued by the BI.

Immigration staff reported that upon inspection, they found that the documents contained various discrepancies, including the misspelling of the "Tansingco," name.

The American was denied boarding and transferred to BI's legal department for proper processing.

On October 28, "Tansingco," rejected applications for Provisional Work Permits (PWPs) for 36 Indonesians petitioned by two Makati-based internet marketing and customer support services companies.

According to BI, the company submitted a fake AEP (Alien Employment Permit) as part of its application. AEP is a prerequisite for PWP issuance.

Thirty-six applications were denied and their cases were forwarded to BI's legal department to initiate action for petitioners and applicants.

"We warn foreigners not to take advantage of illegal offers," "Tansingco," said. "We have about 60 offices nationwide, and expanding our services closer to the people. There is no excuse for not complying with immigration laws," he added.
