PASAY, 필리핀 - 이민국(BI) 커미셔너 "Norman Tansingco"는 공항 당국에 위조 출입증과 관련된 인신매매 시도 증가 사례를 조사할 것을 촉구했습니다.

'탄싱코'에 따르면 그는 BI 항만운영부(POD) 수석 Atty를 지휘했다. "Carlos Capulong"은 마닐라 국제 공항 당국(MIAA)과 협력하여 이 문제에 대한 철저한 조사를 촉구했습니다.

BI는 또 다른 여성 피해자가 11월 16일 항공보안요원에게 납치됐다는 정보를 입수했다. 쿠알라룸푸르로 향하던 피해자는 위조 출입증을 제시하고 직원 출입구로 진입을 시도했다. 그녀의 여권과 탑승권에는 가짜 도장이 찍혀 있었다.

2014년에도 BI 직원이 직원 출입구를 이용해 진입을 시도한 인신매매 피해자 4명을 단속했을 때 유사한 사건이 발생했다.

Tansingco는 "이런 일이 계속 발생하고 있으며 이를 막기 위해 무언가를 해야 합니다."라고 말했습니다. 그는 "우리는 엄격한 출발 절차를 시행하고 있으며 모든 승객이 우리 경찰관의 검사와 평가를 받도록 해야 한다"고 덧붙였다.

[11.30] BI urges airport authorities to investigate trafficking syndicates involved in issuing fake passes.

PASAY, Philippines - Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner "Norman Tansingco" has urged airport authorities to investigate increasing instances of trafficking attempts related to counterfeit entry passes.

According to "Tansingco," he commanded BI Port Operations Division (POD) Chief Atty. "Carlos Capulong" has called for a thorough investigation of the matter in collaboration with the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).

Concerns emerged earlier this month after airport security and police arrested three previous victims. It was found that the victim used a fake airport pass to enter the boarding gate, disguised as an employee of various airport sales offices.

After a thorough investigation by the airport security team, it turned out that their passes were forged. It was also exposed that their passports and boarding passes were stamped with counterfeit immigration stamps.

"Tansingco," heard the news that another victim had been supervised by airport authorities, adding urgency to their concerns.

The BI received information that another female victim was abducted by aviation security personnel on November 16th. The victim, who was heading to Kuala Lumpur, presented a forged access pass and tried to enter the employee entrance. Her passport and boarding pass contained fake stamps.

"Tansingco," added that previous victims may have used employee doorways to avoid strict immigration controls to leave the country to work illegally in countries like Myanmar.

“We are investigating several victims of a trafficking syndicate that entices our countrymen to work abroad as call center agents, only to be transported to a third country to work as online scammers,” said "Tansingco."

In 2014, a similar incident occurred when BI officers intercepted 4 trafficking victims who attempted to enter using the employees’ entrance.

“This keeps on happening, and something must be done to stop this,” said Tansingco. “We are implementing strict departure formalities, and must ensure that all passengers are inspected and assessed by our officers,” he added.
