이민국(BI)은 메트로 마닐라에서 두 명의 불법 이민자를 체포했으며, 두 사람 모두 이민법 위반으로 추방될 예정입니다.

노먼 탕신코 이민국장은 “나이지리아 국적의 이케첵우 존 셰드락(37)과 한국인 권대흠(31)씨가 BI정보국 보고를 인용해 외국인으로 확인됐다”고 밝혔다.

"셰드랙"은 지난 12월 12일 법무관 건물 밖에서 체포되었습니다. Mandaluyong City에서 자신의 사건에 대한 법원 심리에 막 참석한 "Kwon"씨는 다음날 Quezon City의 Kamias Road에 있는 한 술집에서 체포되었습니다.

"셰드랙"은 오버스테이 외계인으로 추정되며 그의 진정한 정체를 숨기기 위해 다양한 가명을 사용했습니다.

한편 권모씨 역시 지난 12월 13일 체류기간을 초과한 외국인으로 체포돼 BI 위원으로부터 즉각 제명 처분을 받았다.

두 외국인 모두 현재 타귁시 캠프 바공 디와에 있는 BI 구금 시설에 구금되어 추방을 기다리고 있습니다.

그들은 이민 블랙리스트에 올라 필리핀 재입국이 금지됩니다.

[12.20] BI agents nab 2 illegals in Mandaluyong, QC

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has reportedly arrested two illegal immigrants in Metro Manila, both of whom will be deported for violating immigration laws.

Ikechekwu John Shedrak (37), who has Nigerian nationality, and Kwon Dae Heom (31), a Korean, were identified as foreigners by citing a report from the BI Intelligence division, Immigration Commissioner "Norman Tangsinco," said.

"Shedrack," was arrested outside the Hall of Justice building last December 12th. Having just attended a court hearing on his case in Mandaluyong City, Mr. "Kwon," was arrested the next day at a pub on Kamias Road, Quezon City.

"Shedrack," was presumed to be an overstaying alien and used various pseudonyms to hide his true identity.

Meanwhile, "Kwon," was also arrested on December 13 as a foreigner who had overstayed his stay, and was ordered to be expelled immediately by the BI board of Commissioner.

Both foreigners are currently detained at the BI detention facility in  Camp Bagong diwa, Taguig City, awaiting expulsion.

They are blacklisted for immigration and barred from re-entering the Philippines.
