[1.14] BI to hire more personnel

MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has announced that it will hire more talent through its online application platform.

BI Commissioner "Norman Tansingco," said at least 49 slots are possible for immigration officers, as well as other positions such as clerks, intelligence officers, and fingerprint examiners.

According to BI Personnel Section Chief Atty. "Cris Villalobos," applicants are encouraged to go to the institution's online job application portal at careers.immigration.gov.ph to view the list of vacancies and requirements.

Applications received by January 20, 2023, and only those who meet the complete requirements will be considered.

Applicants for immigration officials who meet the basic document requirements are required to take a qualifying examination.

Selected applicants will then need to undergo training at the Philippine Immigration Academy, located in Clark, Pampanga prior to deployment.
