[11.23] BI inks agreement with CICC of cybercrime hub.

MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has contracted with the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordination Center (CICC) to establish a cyber crime hub.

At a signing ceremony held on November 15th, BI Commissioner "Norman Tansingco" signed an agreement with CICC to establish cybercrime hubs at major airports and BI headquarters to handle online fraud and cybercrime cases.

CICC is the government's main coordinating agency for fighting cybercrime. The agency was represented by Managing Director "Alexander Ramos" during the event.
