마닐라 - 타기그시 비쿠탄에 있는 이민국(BI) 구금 센터는 두 명의 구금자가 또 다른 불법 마약 밀수 시도에 대한 조사를 받을 때까지 폐쇄됩니다.

수요일 성명에서 BI Warden Facility 대표 "Adelfo Marasigan"은 사건에 대한 조사가 진행되는 동안 제한이 시행될 것이라고 말했습니다.

그는 관련 외국인들을 미국인 '로버트 웨인 볼링 주니어'로 지목했다. 그리고 지난 10월 4일 7그램에 가까운 샤브샤브 두 봉지에 몰래 들어가려고 한 한국인 '권혁수'(41)씨.

"마라시간이 추가됐다. 마라시간"은 "볼링용으로 배달된 한식 찌개에 마약 성분이 숨어 있었다"고 덧붙였다.

그는 요원들이 지난해 9월 '볼링'이 요청한 음식 배달이 또 다른 한국인 억류자인 양희준의 음식 배달과 유사한 것으로 의심하기 시작했다고 말했다.

하지만 '볼링'은 식료품 배달 허가를 받았을 뿐 실제 주인은 '권'이라고 자백했다.

두 사람 모두 공화국법 9165 또는 2002년 종합위험마약법 위반 혐의로 체포됐다.

9월 21일 '양씨'는 비닐에 싸인 샤브샤브 4g을 김치(채소발효) 용기에 담았다.

'볼링'과 '권'은 형사처벌을 받아 법정에서 재판을 받게 되며, 유죄가 확정되면 국외에서 복역해야 추방된다.

BI 국장 "Norman Tansingco"는 이러한 성과에 대해 구금 시설 요원을 칭찬했습니다.

"우리 경찰관들이 3주 동안 체포된 것은 이번이 두 번째입니다. 매우 칭찬할 만하지만 우리는 이 외국인들이 우리 구금 시설을 불법 마약 거래 센터로 사용하는 것을 국에서 허용하지 않을 것임을 대중에게 확신합니다." 그는 말했다.

[10.19] Closure to BI Prison Awaiting Investigation Into Drug Smuggling Attempt

MANILA -The Burau of Immigration (BI) detention center in Bicutan, Taguig City will be closed pending an investigation into another illegal drug smuggling attempt by two detainees.

In a statement Wednesday, BI Warden Facility representative "Adelfo Marasigan" said restrictions would be implemented while investigations on the case.

He pointed to the foreigners involved as American "Robert Wayne Boling Jr." and Korean "Kwon Hyuk-soo," 41 years old, who tried to sneak in two bags of shabu weighing nearly 7grams on Oct. 4.

"Marasigan added. "Marasigan" added, "The narcotic substance was hidden in the Korean stew that was delivered for boling."

He said agents began to suspect that the food deliveries requested by "Boling" last September were similar to the food delivery of another South Korean detainee, Yang Heejun.

However, "Boling" confessed that he was only asked for approval to deliver groceries and that "Kwon" was the actual owner.

Both were arrested on suspicion of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.

On September 21, "Mr. Yang" secretly took 4g of shabu wrapped in plastic into a kimchi (fermented vegetable) container.

"Boling" and "Kwon" are criminally prosecuted and will face trial in court, and if convicted must serve time in the country before being deported.

BI Commissioner "Norman Tansingco" commended the detention facility agents for these achievements.

"This is the Second time that our officers have had apprehension in three weeks. And although it is highly commendable, we assure the public that the bureau will not allow these foreigners to use our detention facility as a center for their illegal drug trade," he said.
