이민국(BI) 관리들은 두 명의 중국인을 강간 혐의로 체포했다고 말했습니다.

노먼 탄싱코(Norman Tansingco) BI 위원은 체포된 외국인이 강간방지법 266조 위반 혐의로 필리핀 경찰(PNP)에 체포된 28세 류용(Liu Yong)과 35세 쑨 라이젱(Sun Laizheng)이라고 밝혔다.

"우리는 PNP Pasay City로부터 'Liu'와 'Sun'에 대한 합의서를 받았습니다. 그들의 양육권은 지난 10월 19일 우리에게 양도되었습니다."라고 BI 책임자는 덧붙였습니다.

'탄싱코'에 따르면 '리우'와 '선'은 각각 2018년과 2019년부터 국내에 머물고 있다.

체포된 외국인들은 비이민자로서 체류 조건 및 제한 사항을 위반하고, 공공 지원에 응하고, 공공 복지에 명백하고 현존하는 위험을 가한 혐의로 기소되었습니다.

이어 "탄싱코는 이번 사건에 대해 실망감을 드러냈다. 그들은 우리 여성과 어린이들에게 위협이 되며 우리 땅에는 이런 종류의 외국인들이 설 자리가 없다"고 말했다.

“BI가 다른 법 집행 기관과 긴밀히 협력하고 있으니 안심하십시오. 필리핀인을 위한 더 안전한 커뮤니티를 옹호하는 기관”이라고 덧붙였다.

"류"와 "쑨"는 추방 법적 절차를 밟을 때까지 Taguig의 BI 구금 센터에서 구금됩니다.

[11.13] BI, two Chinese detained for sexual assault

The Bureau of  Immigration (BI) officials said they had arrested two Chinese nationals on suspicion of rape.

BI Commissioner "Norman Tansingco," said the arrested foreigners were "Liu Yong," 28, and "Sun Laizheng," 35, who was previously arrested by the Philippine National Police (PNP) for violating Section 266 of the Rape Prevention Act.

"We have received a settlement letter from PNP Pasay City regarding "Liu" and "Sun." Their custody was transferred to us last October 19," the BI chief added.

According to "Tansingco,' "Liu" and "Sun" have been in the country since 2018 and 2019 respectively.

The arrested aliens have been charged with violating the conditions and restrictions of their stay as non-immigrants, responding to public assistance, and posing a clear and existing danger to public welfare.

"Tansingco,' subsequently expressed disappointment over the incident. "They are a threat to our women and children and there is no place on our land for these kinds of foreigners," "Tansingco," said.

“Rest assured that BI is working closely with other law enforcement agencies. An agency that advocates for a safer community for Filipinos,” he added.
