탄싱코 측은 "정기 운항 시간에 출국하지 못하는 많은 외국인들이 겪는 상황을 고려해, 이들이 체류 시간을 초과해 걱정할 필요 없이 일정을 재조정할 수 있도록 이번 주의보를 발령했다"고 말했다.

이 기간 동안 비자 및 ECC가 만료된 승객은 유예 기간을 1월 12일까지 연장하여 추가 이민 없이 항공편을 재예약할 수 있습니다.

탄싱코 측은 “예정된 비행시간에 출국하지 못하는 많은 외국인들이 겪는 상황을 고려해 체류기간 초과 걱정 없이 일정을 재조정할 수 있도록 주의보를 발령했다”고 말했다.

외국인은 1월 1일부터 결항된 항공편이 확정된 항공권 및/또는 탑승권만 제시해야 합니다.

탄싱코 측은 “이번 연장은 필리핀 환대의 정신으로 이뤄졌다”고 말했다. 그는 "비자 기간을 초과하여 체류할 의도가 없었기 때문에 피해를 입은 사람들에게 적절한 배려가 주어졌다"고 덧붙였다.

[1.4] Tansingco Offers Grace Period to Foreigners Affected by New Year's Flight Cancellations

MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Bureau of Immigration Service (BI) Commissioner "Norman Tansingco" has issued a caution to provide a grace period for foreigners affected by flight cancellations on the first day of the new year.

All foreigners whose flights have been canceled or delayed following technical issues affecting flights to the Philippines from the Air Traffic Management  Center (AMTC) under the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on January 1 were given a grace period on the validity of their authorized stay and their Emigration

Clearance Certificate (ECC).

"Considering what happened to many foreign nationals who were unable to leave during their scheduled flights, we issued this advisory to assist them in rescheduling, without having to worry about overstaying,” said "Tansingco."

Those whose visas and ECCs have expired during this period can rebook flights without additional immigration by extending the grace period until January 12.

“In consideration of the situation experienced by many foreigners who cannot leave the country during the scheduled flight scheduled, we have issued this advisory so that they can reschedule without worrying about exceeding their stay,” "Tansingco," said.
