BI는 Ninoy Aquino 국제공항(NAIA) 및 막탄 세부 국제공항(MCIA)에서 외국인의 1차 심사를 위한 출입국 절차에 대한 ISO 9001:2015의 요구 사항을 충족하는 것으로 평가 및 인증되었습니다. 인증에는 BI 본사의 임시 방문자를 위한 장기 체류도 포함됩니다.

[1.17] BI Awarded ISO Certification for Airport and Extension Services

MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has announced that the agency will extend its ISO certification to airport and tourist visa extension services.

Immigration Commissioner "Norman Tansingco," said BI had successfully passed a surveillance audit conducted by experts from the Societe Generale Surveillance (SGS).

The certification was awarded at the awards ceremony held at BI headquarters on January 16th.

This certification confirms BI's continued adherence to internationally recognized organizational practices and efforts to provide its clients with globally competitive quality performance and service.

The BI has been assessed and certified to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for immigration procedures for the primary screening of foreigners at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA). Certification also includes extended stays for temporary visitors at BI Headquarters.

"This certification is a testament to our ongoing goal of providing the best immigration services," "Tansingco," said. "Despite the difficulties of the past two years, we are doing our best to improve the quality of service we provide to the public," he added.

The BI was the first to receive ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2016, making it the first of all departments under the Department of Justice (DOJ) to receive ISO certification. We successfully migrated to ISO 9001:2015 in 2018.
