[11.18] MMDA, NGAs, LGUs Approve Implementation of Action Plan on Traffic Management for Metro Manila

Representatives from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Metro Manila's 17 local government agencies, and the national agency responsible for managing traffic in the metropolis pledged to work together on Friday to implement a five-year action plan to alleviate congestion in Metro Manila, the economic and business center of the Philippines.

Speaking at the final Joint Steering Committee meeting for the JICA-funded “Comprehensive Transportation Management Plan (CTMP) Project for Metro Manila,” MMDA Acting Chairman Atty spoke.
