[9.25] MMDA on Red Alert for Super Typhoon Karding

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has issued a red warning in preparation for the impact of Super Typhoon Carding (international name: Noru).

MMDA Acting Chairman "Carlo Dimayuga III" monitored the situation in various areas of Metro Manila today at the Metrobase amid the inclement weather to ensure that all CVTVs are working.

According to "Dimayuga," the agency is ready to deploy frontline personnel and emergency vehicles to assist the masses when the typhoon begins in the National Capital Region (NCR).

"Dimayuga," said, "I created the Karding Task Force, which is led by Mr. "Aldo Mayor," head of MMDA's Public Safety Division.

He added that this personnel has equipment for water rescue, Search, Rescue, and Retrieval (SRR), and 78 water filters.

In addition, Metro Manila's 71 pumping stations are all operating at 100% to mitigate flooding.

In response to the red alarm, the agency will implement a "24/7" policy for frontline employees, especially those involved in emergency response.
