메트로폴리탄 마닐라 개발청(MMDA)은 오늘 18-35세의 젊은 필리핀 예술가들이 드로잉, 회화 및 기타 예술 형식을 통해 창의성과 재능을 발휘할 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위해 조직된 제1회 전국 예술 경연 대회의 준결승 진출자들을 발표했습니다.

총 314명의 참가자들이 캔버스에 유화, 유화 물감, 캔버스에 아크릴, 혼합 매체, 캔버스에 잉크, 사진, 구아슈, 수채화, 혼합 매체 등 다양한 매체와 기법을 사용하여 대회에 출품했습니다.

MMDA 회장 대행 "Carlo Dimayuga III"는 기획사가 젊은 예술가들에게 경쟁을 통해 힘을 실어주기 위해 노력하며, 그들의 작품이 인정받을 수 있는 장을 제공한다고 말했습니다.

"이렇게 많은 젊은 예술가들이 MMDA의 첫 번째 전국 예술 대회에 참가하는 것은 고무적인 일입니다. 이것은 메트로 마닐라뿐만 아니라 전국적으로 문화를 보존하고 더 널리 홍보하기 위한 기관의 권한의 일부입니다."라고 "Dimayuga"가 말했습니다.

배심원단(BOJ)은 제출된 온라인 출품작 중에서 36명의 준결승 진출자를 선정했습니다. 준결승 진출자들은 그들의 실제 작품을 제출해야 하며, 그것은 파시그 시티의 새로운 MMDA 빌딩에 전시될 것입니다.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced today the semi-finalists of its 1st National Art Competition, organized to provide an opportunity for young Filipino artists, 18-35 years old, to show their creativity and talent through drawing, painting, and other artistic forms.

A total of 314 participants have submitted their artwork entries for the competition, using a wide variety of mediums and techniques, such as oil on canvas, oil paint, acrylic on canvas, acrylic, mixed media, ink on canvas, photography, gouache, watercolor, mixed medium, etc.

MMDA Acting Chairman "Carlo Dimayuga III" said the agency seeks to empower young artists through the competition, providing a venue for their artwork to be recognized.

"It's encouraging to see so many youthful artists participating in the MMDA's first national art competition, which is a part of the agency’s mandate to preserve and further promote culture throughout the nation, not just in Metro Manila," said "Dimayuga."

The Board of Jurors (BOJ) selected 36 semi-finalists out of the submitted entries online with complete requirements. The semi-finalists are required to submit their actual works, which will be displayed at the new MMDA Building in Pasig City.

Entries came from different cities in Metro Manila, Cebu, Nueva Vizcaya, Bulacan, Cavite, North Cotabato, Pampanga, Rizal, and Baguio.

The contest began accepting entries on May 11, 2022, and the deadline for online entry submission was June 30, 2022.

The first prize winner will receive 300,000 pesos and a scholarship for the Art Residency Program, while the second prize winner will receive 200,000.00 pesos and a scholarship for the Art Residency Program. Four finalists shall also receive 50,000.00 pesos each.
