디마유가(Dimayuga)에 따르면 MMDA는 일반 대중, 특히 백신 접종이 완료되지 않은 사람, 면역이 약한 사람 및 노인에게 실내 또는 실외에서 마스크를 계속 착용할 것을 강력히 권고하고 있습니다. 바이러스를 차단하고 더 이상의 전파를 차단합니다.

이 외에도 기관은 최소한의 건강 프로토콜을 여전히 엄격하게 준수해야 할 필요성을 강조하는 모든 직원에게 각서를 발표했습니다. 각서에는 모든 직원, 특히 현장 직원은 자신을 보호하기 위해 야외에서도 마스크를 착용할 것을 당부했습니다.

행정 명령 3호에 따라, 물리적 거리를 항상 준수한다면 통풍이 잘되는 개방된 공간과 붐비지 않은 야외 공간에서 안면 마스크를 착용하는 것은 이제 선택 사항입니다.

[9.14]MMDA Encourages the Public to Still Wear Face Masks Outdoors

In light of Executive Order number 3 making the wearing of face masks outdoors optional, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has encouraged the public to continue wearing face masks outdoors and in open spaces.

MMDA Acting Chairman Engr. "Carlo Dimayuga III" said that the wearing of face masks protects us not only against the COVID-19 virus but also from pollution.

According to "Dimayuga," the MMDA strongly enjoins the public, particularly those who are not fully vaccinated, immuno-compromised, and the senior citizens, to continue wearing face masks whether indoor or outdoor for it helps minimize our risk of getting infected with the virus and stop its further transmission.

Aside from this, the agency also released a memorandum to all its employees emphasizing the need to still strictly adhere to the minimum health protocols. In the memorandum, all employees are urged to wear masks even outdoors, especially field personnel, for their own protection.

Under Executive Order No. 3, wearing face masks in open spaces and non-crowded outdoor areas with good ventilation is now optional provided that physical distancing will be observed at all times.
