48회째를 맞이하는 메트로 마닐라 영화제는 크리스마스 시즌에 필리핀의 영화적 경험을 다시 한 번 즐기는 우리 카바바야인들의 전초전인 동시에 "BALIK SAYA"라는 메시지를 홍보하는 만큼 가장 크고, 가장 많은 인기와 많은 지지를 받으며 기대를 모으고 있는 메트로 마닐라 영화제가 살아나고 있다.

수상 경력이 많고 존경받는 부츠 앤슨로아 로드리고와 제시 에제리코가 각각 위원장과 부위원장으로 있는 선정 위원회의 존경 받는 구성원들은 다음 기준에 따라 상위 4개 대본을 선정했다. 예술적 우수성 - 40%, 상업적 매력 - 40%, 필리핀 문화적 감수성 - 10%, 글로벌 매력 - 10%입니다.

처음 4개의 MMFF 2022 공식 엔트리는 다음과 같다.

1. ABS-CBN 영화 제작 감독: 로델 나시앙노의 억양

각본가: 패트릭 발렌시아

출연: 코코 마틴과 조디 스타. 마리아야.

2. 레인 엔터테인먼트 프로덕션의 감독 NANANAHIMIKANG GABI: 슈고 프라이코

스크립트 작성기: 슈고 프라이코

출연: 이안 베네라시온, 몬 콘피아도, 헤븐 페랄레호

3. ABS-CBN 영화 제작 책임자의 범죄 관련 파트너: 캐시 가르시아-몰리나

완성된 영화 제출 마감일(다른 공식 MMFF 출품작 4개를 선정하는 경우)은 9월 2일(조기 제출)과 9월 30일(정기 제출)으로 한다.

The biggest, most popular and the widely supported and anticipated Metro Manila Film Festival, now on its 48th year is alive and upbeat as it promotes the message “BALIK SAYA” while foregrounding our kababayans enjoying the Filipino cinematic experience again during the Christmas Season.

The esteemed members of the Selection Committee headed by the multi-awarded and much respected leaders of the film industry Boots Anson-Roa Rodrigo and Jesse Ejercito as chair and vice chair respectively, chose the Top 4 scripts based on the following criteria: Artistic Excellence - 40%, Commercial Appeal - 40%, Filipino Cultural Sensibility - 10% and Global Appeal - 10%.

The first 4 MMFF 2022 official entries based on script submission are:

1. LABYU WITH AN ACCENT by ABS-CBN Film Productions Director: Rodel Nacianceno

                        Scriptwriter: Patrick Valencia

                        Starring: Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria

2. NANANAHIMIK ANG GABI by Rein Entertainment Productions Director: Shugo Praico

                       Scriptwriter: Shugo Praico

                       Starring: Ian Veneracion, Mon Confiado and Heaven Peralejo

3. PARTNERS IN CRIME by ABS-CBN Film Productions Director: Cathy Garcia-Molina

                       Scriptwriter: Enrico C. Santos Starring: Vice Ganda and Ivana Alawi/p>

4. THE TEACHER by TEN17P Director: Paul Soriano Scriptwriter: Emma Villa

                       Starring: Joey De Leon and Toni Gonzaga

The deadline for the finished film submission (where the other 4 official MMFF entries shall be chosen) shall be on Sept 2 (for early birds submission) and Sept 30 (regular submission).
