GENEVA, Switzerland - Authorities say Switzerland aims to reduce gas consumption by 15 percent, following the European Union's target in response to the energy crisis.

The Alpine country, which relies entirely on imports of natural gas, is adapting to supply problems triggered by Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Russia's response to Western sanctions.

It imports 75 percent of its gas from Germany.
