마닐라 — 주 기상국 PAGASA에 따르면 목요일에 열대성 저기압이 필리핀 책임 지역에 진입할 수 있다고 합니다.

그러나 ABS-CBN에 거주하는 기상학자 "아리엘 로하스(Ariel Rojas)"는 폭풍이 육지를 강타하지는 않을 것이라고 말했습니다.

필리핀 지역에 진입하면 '인데이'라는 이름을 갖게 된다.

시속 20km의 속도로 서남서 방향으로 이동하는 열대성 저기압은 루손의 최북단에서 동북동쪽으로 1,610km 떨어진 곳에서 발견되었다고 최신 PAGASA 게시판에 밝혔습니다.

중심 부근에서 최대 시속 45km의 지속 바람과 최대 55km의 돌풍을 동반합니다.

한편 남서 몬순이나 하바갓은 팔라완에 비를 가져올 수 있다고 "Rojas"는 말했습니다. 반면 Tawi-Tawi와 Sarangani는 Intertropical Convergence Zone 또는 ITCZ로 인한 소나기를 예상할 수 있습니다.

화창한 날씨가 전국 많은 지역에 우세하지만 오후 늦게 Pangasinan, Central Luzon, Panay, Negros, Cebu, Samar 및 거의 민다나오 전역에 뇌우가 발생할 수 있습니다.

메트로 마닐라 주민들은 맑은 날씨를 경험하겠지만 늦은 오후나 이른 저녁에 뇌우가 발생할 수 있다고 "Rojas"가 말했습니다.

[9.6] The storm may enter the Philippines area on Thursday, but it will not make landfall.

MANILA — A tropical depression may enter the Philippine area of responsibility on Thursday, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA.

However, the storm is not to hit the land, ABS-CBN resident meteorologist "Ariel Rojas" said.

Once it enters the Philippine area, it will be named "Inday."

Moving west-southwestward at 20 kilometers per hour, the tropical cyclone was spotted 1,610 kilometers east-northeast of extreme northern Luzon, the latest PAGASA bulletin said. 

It packs maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center, and gusts of up to 55 kph. 

Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon or habagat may bring rains over Palawan, "Rojas" said, while Tawi-Tawi and Sarangani could expect rain showers due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ.

Sunny weather will prevail over many parts of the country but thunderstorms may occur later afternoon over Pangasinan, Central Luzon, Panay, Negros, Cebu, Samar, and almost the entire Mindanao. 

Metro Manila residents will experience fair weather but thunderstorms are possible to happen in the late afternoon or in the early evening, "Rojas" said.
