마닐라 – 필리핀 책임지역(PAR) 외곽의 열대성 저기압이 수요일 밤이나 목요일에 진입할 것으로 예상된다고 기상청이 말했습니다.

열대저압부는 1,530km에서 마지막으로 발견되었습니다. 북부 루손 극단의 동쪽도 36시간 이내에 열대성 폭풍 범주에 도달할 것으로 예상됩니다.

한편, 팔라완과 민다나오에 영향을 미치는 열대 수렴대(ITCZ)로 인해 수요일에 팔라완, 서부 비사야 산맥, 잠보앙가 반도, 바실란, 술루, 타위-타위 지역에 산발적인 소나기와 뇌우가 우세할 것으로 예상됩니다.

이 지역에서는 보통 또는 때때로 폭우로 인해 돌발 홍수 또는 산사태가 발생할 수 있습니다.

나머지 지역은 국지적인 뇌우로 인한 고립된 소나기가 내리겠습니다.

[9.7] Tropical cyclone expected to enter PAR by Wednesday

MANILA – The tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) is expected to enter either by Wednesday night or Thursday, the weather bureau said.

The tropical depression was last spotted at 1,530 km. east of extreme Northern Luzon is also forecast to reach the tropical storm category within 36 hours.

Once it enters PAR, it will be given the local name, "Inday".

A steady intensification is also possible as the tropical cyclone moves over the Philippine Sea, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The tropical cyclone, PAGASA said, is expected to bring heavy rainfall and severe winds.

However, it may cause moderate to rough seas over the seaboards of extreme northern Luzon during the weekend.

Meanwhile, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are forecast to prevail over Palawan, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi on Wednesday due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan and Mindanao.

Flash floods or landslides are possible in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail over the entire archipelago. (PNA)
