마닐라 – 한 달 만에 처음으로 필리핀 중앙은행(BSP) 28일물 금리가 투자자들의 강한 수요로 하락했습니다.

금요일 발표된 자료에 따르면 부채 증서의 평균 비율은 9월 2일 경매에서 4.0596%에서 4.0518%로 하락했습니다.

BSP는 입찰 규모를 1,000억 PHP에서 900억 PHP로 낮추었고 경매 위원회가 완전히 낙찰받았습니다.

총 입찰가는 1,600억 5,000만 PHP에 도달했습니다.

BSP 부총재 "Francisco Dakila Jr." 경매에서 수락된 수익률은 "높게 이동했지만 3.9200(~4.0990%) 범위로 좁혀졌다"고 성명에서 밝혔다.

[9.9] BSP 28-day fall in securities interest rates

MANILA – For the first time in a month, the rate of the Bank Central of the Philippines (BSP) 28-day bills declined amid strong demand from investors.

Data released on Friday showed that the average rate of the debt paper slipped to 4.0518 percent from 4.0596 percent during the auction on September 2.

The BSP lowered the offer volume from PHP100 billion to PHP90 billion, which the auction committee fully awarded.

Total bids reached PHP160.05 billion.

BSP Deputy Governor "Francisco Dakila Jr." said in a statement that yields accepted in the auction “shifted higher but narrowed to a range of 3.9200 (percent to) 4.0990 percent.”

“The results of the BSP bill auction point to the gradual return to normal liquidity conditions in the short-term market following the settlement of the Retail Treasury Bonds,” he said. “Looking ahead, the BSP’s monetary operations will remain guided by its assessment of the latest liquidity conditions and market developments.” (PNA)
