MANILA – President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. said government assets were being prepared to handle the aftermath of a severe tropical storm in Neneng on Sunday.

"Marcos" was confident that the government would provide Filipinos with food, safe drinking water, and electricity in particular.

'Neneng' was last seen moving west at a speed of 25 km/h from 115 km West-northwest of Calayan, Cagayan.

The weather bureau also advised people living in very high-risk or highly sensitive areas to follow local officials' evacuation and other guidelines.
