마닐라 — 필리핀 전역에 수요일 열대성 폭풍 플로리타(국제명: 마온)가 국가 책임 지역 밖에서 약간 강화됨에 따라 모든 열대성 사이클론 풍랑 신호가 해제되었습니다.

PAGASA는 폭풍 신호가 오전 11시 경보에서 제거될 것이라고 말하지만 남서 몬순이나 하바갓은 앞으로 24시간 동안 루손 서부에 계속해서 비를 몰고 올 수 있습니다.

또한 메트로 마닐라, MIMAROPA, 카비테, 케손, 불라칸, 팜팡가, 팡가시난, 오로라, 일로코스, 코딜레라 행정구역, 카가얀 계곡에서 여전히 강풍에 가까운 돌풍이 발생할 수 있다고 덧붙였습니다.

PAGASA는 플로리타가 서필리핀해를 건너 중국 남부를 향해 서북서 방향으로 향할 것으로 예상되며, 목요일 오전이나 이른 오후에 상륙할 것으로 보인다고 밝혔습니다.

기상청에 따르면, 시속 100킬로미터의 지속적인 바람과 시속 125킬로미터의 돌풍을 동반한 플로리타는 수요일 밤에 태풍 범주에 도달하기 위해 다시 강해질 것으로 예상됩니다.

MANILA — All tropical cyclone wind signals were lifted over the Philippines on Wednesday as severe tropical storm Florita (International name: Maon) was slightly strengthened outside the country's area of responsibility, 

PAGASA says the storm signal will be removed from the 11 a.m. warning, but southwest monsoon or Habagat could continue to bring rain to western Luzon over the next 24 hours.

It also added that gusts close to strong winds could still occur in Metro Manila, MIMAROPA, Cavite, Quezon, Bulacan, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Aurora, Ilocos, Cordillera administrative districts, and the Cagayan Valley.

PAGASA says Florita is expected to cross the West Philippine Sea and head west-northwest towards southern China, with landfall expected Thursday morning or early afternoon. 

Florita, with sustained winds of up to 100 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 125 kilometers per hour, is expected to strengthen again Wednesday night to reach the typhoon category, according to the weather agency.
