마닐라 – 금요일 Malacañang은 태풍 "Henry"(Hinnamnor)가 더욱 약화되었지만 대중에게 경계를 유지할 것을 촉구했습니다.

언론 비서실(OPS)은 페이스북 게시물에서 대중에게 정부의 업데이트를 모니터링하라고 지시했다.

이어 "인명과 재산에 대한 위협은 미미하지만, 태풍 관련 공지사항을 지켜봐 주시기 바랍니다."

OPS는 일반 대중이 정기적인 업데이트를 받기 위해 PAGASA(Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration)의 소셜 미디어 계정을 방문할 수 있다고 말했습니다.

"새로운 폭풍 신호 및 기타 날씨 업데이트를 보려면 Dost_pagasa Facebook 페이지를 방문하십시오."라고 말했습니다.

PAGASA가 발표한 오전 11시 기상 공보에 따르면 "헨리"는 Batanes의 북동쪽 동쪽 필리핀 해를 따라 천천히 북서쪽으로 이동하면서 더욱 약화되었습니다.

태풍은 중심 부근에서 시속 165km의 최대 지속 바람과 최대 205km의 돌풍을 동반했습니다.

[9.2] Stay alert, public told as gov’t monitors ‘Henry’

MANILA – Malacañang on Friday urged the public to remain alert even though Typhoon “Henry” (Hinnamnor) has further weakened.

In a Facebook post, the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) told the public to monitor updates from the government.

"While the threat to life and property is minimal, we advise the public and disaster responders to monitor the announcements related to the typhoon,” it said.

The OPS said the public may visit the social media accounts of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) to get regular updates.

"For the new storm signals and other weather updates, visit Dost_pagasa Facebook page,” it said.

“Henry” weakened further, as it slowly moved northwestward over the Philippine Sea east northeast of Batanes, according to the 11 a.m. weather bulletin released by PAGASA.

The typhoon packed maximum sustained winds of 165 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 205 kph.

It is forecast to weaken in the next 12 hours but may reintensify on Saturday morning as it begins to move northward.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 2 was hoisted over Batanes, where winds may reach gale-force strength.

TCWS No. 1 was raised over the Babuyan Islands and the northeastern portion of mainland Cagayan (Santa Ana) where strong breeze to near gale strength winds will be experienced.

In the next 24 hours, the southwest monsoon will bring rains over Isabela, the western portion of Central Luzon, and the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region. (PNA)
