마닐라 – 필리핀 해군(PN)은 화요일에 이스라엘 조선소에서 약 9발을 인수한 첫 2개의 고속 공격 차단 크래프트 미사일(FAIC-Ms)에 명명할 것이라고 발표했습니다.

PN 대변인 벤조 네그란자(Benjo Negranza) 사령관은 일요일 성명을 통해 세례식이 오전 8시경 마닐라 록사스 대로(Roxas Boulevard)의 호세 안드라다 해군기지 코모도어 디비노 부두(Commodore Divino Pier)에서 열릴 것이라고 밝혔다.

"PN의 FAIC-Ms는 2022년 9월 6일에 CSAFP(필리핀 참모총장) 중장 "Bartolome Vicente Bacarro"가 기조 연설자로, "Soledad B. Bacarro 그는 "후원자로서"라고 덧붙였다.

2대의 FAIC-M은 화물선에 실려 8월 말 이스라엘 하이파를 떠났다.

이 선박은 지난 6월 26일 공식적으로 진수되었으며 BRP "Nestor Acero"(PB-901) 및 BRP "Lolinato To-ong"(PB-902)으로 PN에 취역할 예정입니다.

FAIC-M 중 4대는 정확한 정확도와 사거리 25km의 비가시선 미사일로 무장하고 나머지 4대는 기관총과 경자동포로 무장할 예정이다.

FAIC-M 8대 인수는 필리핀 현대화 프로그램의 Horizon 2 목록에 따라 "Rodrigo Duterte" 전 대통령이 승인한 2019년 프로젝트 중 하나입니다.

약 100억 페소 규모의 FAIC-M 프로젝트 수주공고는 지난해 1월 5일 발표됐다.

이들은 순찰 킬러 중형(PKM) 또는 중형 순찰선의 전력을 대체할 것으로 예상됩니다.

FAIC-M의 인도가 완료되면 이 선박은 수상 위협을 차단하고 주변 연안 지역을 기동 공간 및 엄폐물로 사용하여 가시선이 아닌 미사일을 안전하게 발사할 수 있습니다. (PNA)

[9.5] PH Navy to christen first 2 Israeli-made missile boats on Sept. 6

MANILA – The Philippine Navy (PN) announced that it will be christening its first two fast-attack interdictor craft-missiles (FAIC-Ms), of which around nine were acquired from Israel Shipyards Limited on Tuesday.

PN spokesperson Commander "Benjo Negranza," in a statement on  Sunday, said the christening ceremony will be held at around 8 a.m. at the Commodore Divino Pier, Naval Station Jose Andrada, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.

"The PN's FAIC-Ms will be christened on September 6, 2022, with CSAFP (Chief-of-Staff Armed Forces of the Philippines) Lt. Gen. "Bartolome Vicente Bacarro" as the keynote speaker and Mrs. "Soledad B. Bacarro" as a sponsor," he added.

The two FAIC-Ms were loaded aboard a cargo ship and departed Haifa, Israel late August.

These vessels were formally launched last June 26 and will be commissioned into the PN as the BRP "Nestor Acero" (PB-901) and BRP "Lolinato To-ong" (PB-902).

Four of the FAIC-Ms will be armed with non-line-of-sight missiles with pinpoint accuracy and a range of 25 kilometers while the other four will be armed with machine guns and light automatic cannons.

The acquisition of eight FAIC-M units is among the 2019 projects approved by former President "Rodrigo Duterte" under the Horizon 2 List of the Revised Armed Forces of the Philippines modernization program.

The notice of award for the FAIC-M project, worth around 10 billion pesos, was issued on January 5th last year.

These are expected to replace the force of patrol killer medium (PKM) or medium-sized patrol craft.

Once deliveries of the FAIC-Ms are completed, these vessels can interdict surface threats and launch non-line-of-sight missiles safely using the surrounding littoral areas as maneuver space and cover. (PNA)
