Manila – The Land Transport Franchise and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has approved the reopening of 43 pandemic transition routes used by 3,513 buses, jeepneys, and UVEs (UV Express Unit) as demand for public transportation continues to grow.

According to memorandum circular number 2022-073 released by the LTFRB on Friday, the line is part of the MUCEP (Metro Manila Urban Transportation Integration Research Update and Capacity Program).

There were 98 existing pandemic transfer routes that had previously been approved for reopening but were found to be "insufficient to meet existing and anticipated passenger demand".
