[10.6] ITCZ will bring rain showers over Mindanao, E. Visayas, and Palawan

MANILA - Sporadic showers and thunderstorms will prevail in Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, and Palawan by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the weather bureau said on Thursday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that occasionally heavy rains can cause flash floods and landslides in the region.

The rest of the region will experience isolated showers from localized thunderstorms.

"Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience warm and humid weather until noon. Rains are likely in the afternoon or evening," PAGASA forecaster Daniel Villamil said."
