마닐라 – 현재 태풍 한나와 필리핀 책임 지역 밖의 두 개의 다른 열대 사이클론에 의해 강화된 남서 몬순 또는 "하바가트"는 전국에 비가 내릴 것이라고 기상청이 토요일 밝혔습니다.

필리핀 대기지구물리천문청(PAGASA)은 이날 오전 3시 기준 한나(국제명 하이쿠이)의 눈 중심 거리가 530㎞로 추정됐다고 밝혔다. Itbayat의 동북동쪽, Batanes는 중앙 근처에서 최대 지속 풍속이 120kph이고 돌풍은 최대 150kph이며 서쪽으로 10kph로 이동합니다.

한나는 바타네스에 돌풍과 함께 비를 몰고 올 것이며, 전국에 영향을 미치는 강화된 하바갓은 일로코스 지역, 잠발레스, 바탄, 옥시덴탈 민도로에 몬순 비를 몰고 올 것이라고 말했습니다.

기상청은 메트로 마닐라, 아브라, 아파야오, 벵게트, 딸락, 팜팡가, 불라칸, 리잘, 카비테, 바탕가스에 가끔 비가 내릴 것이라고 밝혔습니다.

한편, 앤티크와 카가얀 밸리의 나머지 지역, 코르디예라 지역, 센트럴 루손, 칼라바르손 및 미마로파 지역은 하늘이 흐리고 소나기와 뇌우가 흩뿌리겠습니다.

그밖의 전국은 구름 많거나 비가 내리거나 천둥번개를 동반한 곳이 있겠습니다.

루손의 북부와 서부 지역은 거친 바다와 함께 강한 바람을 경험할 것입니다.

민다나오(Mindanao), 비사야(Visayas) 및 루손(Luzon)의 나머지 지역에는 보통에서 강한 바람이 불고 바다는 보통에서 거친 것으로 예상됩니다.

PAGASA는 PAR 외부의 두 활성 열대 저기압은 태풍 사올라(이전의 고링)와 열대성 폭풍 키로기라고 말했습니다.

사올라는 885km 떨어져 있습니다. 북부 루손 섬의 서북서쪽에서 중심 근처의 최대 지속 풍속은 155kph이고 돌풍은 최대 215kph입니다. 시속 15km의 속도로 서쪽으로 이동하고 있습니다.

한편 키로기(Kirogi)는 2,715km 떨어져 있다. 북부 루손(Luzon) 극단의 동북동쪽에서 중심 근처의 최대 지속 풍속은 75kph이고 돌풍은 최대 105kph입니다. 시속 25km의 속도로 북서쪽으로 이동하고 있습니다. (PNA)

[9.2] Rainy Saturday due to Hanna, ‘habagat’

MANILA – The southwest monsoon or “habagat” currently enhanced by Typhoon Hanna and two other tropical cyclones outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility will bring rains across the country, the weather bureau said Saturday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that as of 3 a.m., the center of the eye of Hanna (international name: Haikui) was estimated at 530 km. east-northeast of Itbayat, Batanes with maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph, moving westward at 10 kph.

It said Hanna will bring rains with gusty winds over Batanes, while the enhanced habagat affecting the whole country will bring monsoon rains over the Ilocos Region, Zambales, Bataan and Occidental Mindoro.

Metro Manila, Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite and Batangas will have occasional rains, the weather bureau said.

Meanwhile, Antique and the rest of Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon and Mimaropa will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

The northern and western sections of Luzon will experience strong wind conditions with rough seas.

Mindanao, the Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds, with moderate to rough seas. 

PAGASA said the two active tropical cyclones outside PAR are Typhoon Saola (formerly Goring) and Tropical Storm Kirogi.

Saola is located 885 km. west-northwest of extreme Northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 155 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 215 kph. It is moving westward at 15 kph.

Meanwhile, Kirogi is located 2,715 km. east-northeast of extreme Northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 105 kph. It is moving northwestward at 25 kph. (PNA)
