마닐라 – 필리핀 화산 및 지진 연구소(Phivolcs)는 토요일 새벽 매스바테시에서 규모 5.0의 얕은 지진이 발생했다고 밝혔습니다.

피볼츠에 따르면, 구조적인 지진은 Masbate City에서 "강력한" 진도 5에서 느껴졌습니다.

이러한 강한 지진은 일반적으로 실내와 실외에서 대부분의 사람들에게 느껴지고, 잠든 많은 사람들이 깨어있다고 주 지진학자들은 말했습니다. "어떤 사람들은 겁을 먹고, 어떤 사람들은 야외에서 뛰어요. 강한 흔들림과 흔들림이 건물 곳곳에서 느껴집니다."라고 그들은 덧붙였습니다.

올베이, 소르소곤의 레가즈피 시와 소르소곤 시에서 "약한" 진도 3이 느껴졌고, 마스바테의 아로이는 "약간" 진도 2가 느껴졌습니다.

MANILA – The Philippine Volcanic and Earthquake Research Institute (Phivolcs) says a 5.0-magnitude shallow earthquake struck the city of Masbate early Saturday morning.

According to Phivolcs, the structural earthquake was felt at a "strong" Magnitude 5 in Masbate City.

Such a strong earthquake is generally felt by most people indoors and outdoors, and many people who are asleep are awake, state seismologists said. "Some get scared, and some run outdoors. Strong shaking and shaking are felt throughout the building," they added.

A "weak" Intensity 3 was felt in Legazpi City, Albay, and Sorsogon City, Sorsogon, while Aroroy, Masbate was "slightly felt" Intensity 2.

The epicenter of the earthquake  was  6 kilometers northeast of Masbate City, Masbate. It hit at a depth of 15 kilometers around 3:22 a.m.

Phivolcs  warned of possible aftershocks and damage to the structure.

The Philippines is located in the Pacific Rim which is rocked by earthquakes and volcanoes.
