마닐라 — 심각한 열대성 폭풍 플로리타가 화요일 오후에 약간 약화되었다고 주 기상청이 열대성 사이클론 경고 신호를 유지하는 수십 개 지역에서 말했습니다.

PAGASA는 수요일까지 일로코스, 벵게트, 아브라 주 전역에 가끔 폭우가 내릴 것이며 잠발레스, 바탄 및 나머지 코르디예라 행정 구역에는 가끔 가벼운 비가 내릴 것이라고 말했습니다.

화요일, 플로리타는 여러 지역에서 홍수를 일으켜 일부 수업과 정부 업무를 중단시키고, 대피를 촉구했습니다.

플로리타는 시속 20km로 북서진하면서 수요일에 필리핀을 떠날 것으로 예상된다고 기상청이 말했습니다.

MANILA — Severe tropical storm Florita weakened slightly on Tuesday afternoon, the state weather bureau PAGASA said in dozens of areas maintaining tropical cyclone warning signs.

PAGASA said in its 5 p.m. newsletter that Florita was near Kabugao, Apayao Province, and surrounded by sustained winds of up to 100 kilometers and gusts of up to 125 kilometers near the center.

The Meteorological Agency said on Tuesday that occasional torrential downpours would occur in the Cagayan region, including the Babuyan Islands, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, Zambales, and Bataan.

Expects moderate rainfall in Metro Manila, Isabela, Tarlac, Pampanga, Cavite, and the rest of the Cagayan Valley, adding occasional heavy rains in Central Luzon and the rest of Calabarzon, PAGASA added.

He warned that floods and landslides could occur under these circumstances. 

PAGASA has posted a tropical cyclone warning signal number 3 in the following areas, where winds of 121 to 170 kph could damage Nipa and cogon houses, knock down power and communications, and uproot trees:

PAGASA says the southwest monsoon or Habagat will also shower western Visayas and Mimaropa within the next 24 hours.

PAGASA said through Wednesday, occasional heavy rains will occur across the provinces of Ilocos, Benguet and Abra, with occasional light to moderate rains over Zambales, Bataan and the rest of the Cordillera administrative regions.

On Tuesday, Florita caused flooding in several areas, forcing some classes and government work to be suspended, and calling for evacuation.

Florita is expected to leave the Philippines on Wednesday as it moves northwestward at 20 km/h, the weather bureau said.
