새로 보고된 감염 중 813명은 메트로 마닐라에서 발생했습니다.

8월 22일부터 28일까지 하루 평균 코로나19 감염자는 2,752명으로 전주 대비 19% 감소했다고 DOH가 월요일 밝혔다.

그 주에 보고된 총 사례 중 110건은 심각하고 위중했습니다.

DOH는 일요일 현재 병원에 입원한 코로나19 환자의 총 807명(10.5%)이 중증 및 위독한 상태라고 밝혔다.

코로나19 환자를 위한 중환자실 병상 2,551개 중 최대 635개(24.9%)를 차지했다.

이 나라에서 최소 7,260만 명이 호흡기 질환에 대한 완전한 예방 접종을 받았으며 그 중 1,810만 명이 추가 접종을 받았습니다.

[9.5] There are 2,321 new COVID cases have been confirmed in the Philippines. The total death toll now exceeds 62,000.

MANILA — The Philippines recorded 2,321 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, according to the latest data from the Department of Health (DOH), raising the country's total to 3,891,418.

Forty-nine new deaths were also added, raising the total number of people in the country who succumbed to the respiratory disease to 62,011.

Active cases stood at 24,067, while those who recovered from the illness have now reached 3,805,340, with 1,713 recovered added on Sunday.

Of the newly reported infections, 813 are from Metro Manila.

From Aug. 22 to 28, the country recorded a daily average of 2,752 coronavirus infections, which is 19 percent lower compared to the previous week's, the DOH said on Monday.

Of the total cases reported that week, 110 were severe and critical.

A total of 807 or 10.5 percent of COVID-19 patients in hospitals were in severe and critical condition as of Sunday, said the DOH.

Up to 635 or 24.9 percent of 2,551 intensive care unit beds for COVID-19 patients were occupied.

At least 72.6 million people in the country have been fully vaccinated against the respiratory disease, of whom 18.1 million have received their booster shots.
