강력한 태풍 힌남노르가 화요일 일찍 일본 남서부 규슈를 통과해 이 지역에 집중호우와 강한 바람을 동반한 후 동해를 통해 북쪽으로 이동했습니다.

규슈에서는 지금까지 광범위한 정전과 교통 서비스 중단을 경험했으며, 당국에 따르면 사가현에서 70대 남성 한 명이 지붕을 폭풍우에 견디려다가 지붕에서 떨어져 사망했습니다.

일본 기상청은 폭우로 인한 산사태와 하천 범람 가능성을 주민들에게 계속해서 경고했습니다.

태풍은 화요일 밤까지 온대 저기압으로 강등될 것으로 예상되지만, 일본 동부와 서부에는 수요일까지 폭우와 뇌우가 내릴 가능성이 있습니다.

일본 최북단의 본섬인 홋카이도도 강풍과 폭풍우의 영향을 받을 수 있다고 기관이 말했습니다.규슈에 접근한 제11호 태풍은 쓰시마 해협을 통과하면서 시마네현을 비롯한 서해안의 다른 지역을 휩쓸었습니다.

지역 언론에 따르면 한국 남동부 일부 지역도 태풍의 영향을 크게 받아 1명이 숨지고 1명이 실종된 것으로 현지 언론에 따르면, 지역 언론에 따르면 주요 대도시인 부산의 북쪽에 있는 포항과 울산시에서 실종되었습니다.

태풍 힌남노르는 화요일 오후 기준 시마네현 마쓰에시 북서쪽 약 280km 지점에서 시속 65km의 속도로 북동쪽으로 이동하고 있다.

태풍은 중심 기압이 965헥토파스칼이었고 최대 시속 180km의 바람을 몰고 있었습니다.

통신 장애는 주로 규슈와 오키나와 남부 섬에서 보고된 반면 일본 남서부 후쿠오카, 사가, 나가사키, 구마모토, 가고시마 현에서 약 38,000 가구가 정전을 경험했습니다.

JR 큐슈가 하카타와 구마모토 사이의 초고속 열차 서비스를 중단하면서 철도 운송이 중단되었습니다.

전일본공수(All Nippon Airways Co.)와 일본항공(Japan Airlines Co.)은 주로 일본해를 접하고 있는 일본 서부 해안의 공항을 오가는 항공편이 취소될 것이라고 밝혔다.

수요일 오후까지 24시간 예보에 따르면 시코쿠와 긴키에는 150mm, 도카이에는 120mm의 비가 예상됩니다. 다음 24시간 동안 Tokai에는 최대 150mm가 예상됩니다.

[9.6] The Typhoon Hinnamnor slammed into southwest Japan

Powerful typhoon Hinnamnor early on Tuesday passed to Japan's southwestern main island of Kyushu, bringing torrential rain and strong winds to the area, before moving northward through the Sea of Japan.

Kyushu has so far experienced widespread power outages and disruption in transportation services, with one man in his 70s in Saga Prefecture, he died after falling from a roof while attempting to stormproof it, according to authorities.

The Japan Meteorological Agency has continued to warn to the  people of possible mudslides and swollen rivers due to heavy rain.

Although the typhoon is expected to be downgraded to an extratropical cyclone by Tuesday night, eastern and western Japan are likely to see heavy rain and thunderstorms through Wednesday. 

Japan's northern most main island of Hokkaido could also be affected by strong winds and stormy weather, the agency said.After approaching Kyushu, the season's 11th typhoon swept past Shimane Prefecture and other areas on the country's western coast as it traveled through the Tsushima Strait.

Parts of southeast South Korea were also badly affected by the typhoon, with one person confirmed dead and others missing from the cities of Pohang and Ulsan, to the north of the major metropolis of Busan, according to local media.

As of Tuesday afternoon , Typhoon Hinnamnor was located around 280 kilometers north-northwest of Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, moving northeast at 65 km per hour, according to the agency.

The typhoon had an atmospheric pressure of 965 hectopascals at its center and was packing winds of up to 180 kph.

Disruption to communication services have been reported mainly in Kyushu and the southern island prefecture of Okinawa, while around 38,000 homes in the southwestern Japan prefectures of Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima experienced power outages.

Railway transportation was disrupted, with JR Kyushu suspending the bullet train services between Hakata and Kumamoto.

All Nippon Airways Co. and Japan Airlines Co. said the flights, mainly those to or from airports on Japan's western coast facing the Sea of Japan, will be canceled.

According to a 24-hour forecast through Wednesday afternoon , 150 millimeters of rain is expected in Shikoku and Kinki, and 120 mm for Tokai. In the following 24 hours, up to 150 mm is expected in Tokai.
