이는 8월 14일부터 9월 10일까지 기록된 코비드-19 사례를 다루는 카라가 지역 보건부(DOH-13)에서 제공한 주간 보고서를 기반으로 합니다.

지난 4주 동안 이 지역에서 총 990명의 코비드-19 감염이 기록되었으며, 그 중 374명이 도시에서, 616명이 지방에서 발생했습니다.

이 기간 동안 이 지역에서 총 1,009명의 회복과 35명의 사망자도 기록되었습니다.

[9.17] Only 1 Covid-19 infection logged in Dinagat in 4 weeks

BUTUAN CITY – Only one coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) case was recorded in the Province of Dinagat Islands in the last four weeks.

This is based on the weekly report provided by the Department of Health in the Caraga Region (DOH-13), which covers recorded Covid-19 cases from Aug.14 to Sept. 10.

In the last four weeks, a total of 990 Covid-19 infections were recorded in the region, 374 of the cases were in the cities and 616 in the provinces.

A total of 1,009 recoveries and 35 deaths were also logged in the region during the period.

“This is the result of our concerted efforts to curb the further spread of Covid-19 in our province,” Dinagat Island Gov. "Nilo Demerey Jr." said in a phone interview on Saturday.

He added that the provincial government has also instituted measures to shield the island province from Covid-19 and the massive information drive urging residents to get vaccinated.

Among the measures, "Demerey" said was the issuance of Memorandum Order No. 08-06 which requires all individuals to present their vaccination cards and certificates upon entry and exit from the island.

Unvaccinated individuals, the order said, would be required to present a negative antigen test three days before entry and exit from Dinagat.

“We are thankful to the cooperation of our residents, as well as to our visitors, for following the measures we instituted to stop the further spread of the virus in our province,” Demerey said. (PNA)
