[9.17] Diesel and kerosene prices are expected to drop next week

MANILA – Diesel and kerosene are set for a price rollback estimated at 4 pesos per liter, while gasoline may drop slightly as winter approaches in gasoline-dependent countries.

This has evolved as authorities have recently approved price increases on most public transport modes such as jeepneys, buses, and the Transport Network Vehicle System (TNVS).

Diesel prices will drop from 4 pesos to 4.30 pesos per liter and kerosene from 4.40 pesos to 4.60 pesos per liter.

Gasoline prices could stay the same or drop by 0.30 pesos.

A slight rollback in gasoline prices could have been higher for industry experts, but a recovery in gasoline demand prevailed.
