[9.22] PUV operators can now request a new fare matrix: LTFRB

MANILA - On Thursday, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) asked public utility vehicle (PUV) operators to provide an updated fare matrix at their nearby LTRFB offices as a new fare increase takes effect on Oct. 3.

In a Facebook post, the LTFRB said posting a fare matrix inside the PUV is required as part of the fare increase command.

Before visiting the LTFRB office, the PUV operator must have the latest OR/CR ​​(Official Receipt/Certificate of Registration) from the Land Transportation Office, confirmation of franchise, and a copy of their Provision Authority (PA) for those without a Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC)and an official payment receipt.

"LTFRB offices are open on Monday through Saturday to receive fare matrix/guide requests."

Upon arrival at the LTFRB office, the PUV operators should proceed to window 13 or 14 for payment assessment, pay the fee, receive the official payment receipt, proceed to window 12, submit the document requirements and wait for  2 days Before securing the Fare Matrix/Guide on Window 11.

PUV operators can receive a copy of the new fare matrix, but the fare increases will apply from October 3rd.
