마닐라 - 인신매매 피해자로 알려진 외국인 총 29명이 파라냐케 시에서 구조됐다고 필리핀 경찰(PNP)이 금요일 보고했다.

PNP 장군 "로돌포 아주린 주니어" 경찰과 사회복지사는 오후 5시경 바랑가이 탐보에서 한 작전으로 미얀마 23명과 중국인 6명을 구조했다고 성명에서 밝혔다. 목요일.

[9.29] 29 foreign trafficking victims were rescued in Parañaque

MANILA - A total of 29 foreigners known to be trafficking victims have been rescued in the city of Parañaque, the Philippine National Police (PNP) reported on Friday.

PNP General "Rodolfo Azurin Jr." said in a statement that police and social workers rescued 23 Myanmar and six Chinese in one operation in Barangay Tambo at around 5 pm. Thursday.

An investigation revealed that all victims were POGO (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators) employees of MOA Cloud Zone Corporation located in NexGen Tower along Epifanio de Los Santos Avenue (EDSA) Extension C-4 Road in Pasay City

The rescue operation began on September 22 at the Anti-Kidnapping Group's (AKG)'s request after two Myanmar nationals were taken over by Brickhartz Technology Incorporated attorney "Mark Ronquillo."

On September 27, AKG referred the incident and two Myanmar victims (one male and one female) to the PNP's Women and Child Protection Center (WCPC) for further investigation.

The two victims also told investigators that their relatives and other Myanmar nationals remained with the same company and were still forced to work as online scammers and exploited in rescue operations.

The victim was recruited by "Chue Tiri Ngone," known as "Christine" of Myanmar nationality.

Victims are now under WCPC custody and undergo medical and antigen testing before being transferred to government shelters. (PNA)
