마닐라 – 월요일 오후 수리가오 델 노르테에서 규모 5.1의 지진이 발생했다고 필리핀 화산지진학연구소(Phivolcs)가 밝혔습니다.

Phivolcs는 오후 5시 4분에 발행된 공지에서 오후 4시 7분에 제너럴 루나 시 북동쪽 29km에서 지각 지진이 발생했다고 밝혔습니다.

진도는 15km에서 4.8로 기록됐다.

강도 IV는 수리가오 델 노르테의 루나 장군에서, 강도 III는 수리가오 델 노르테의 수리가오 시에서 느껴졌습니다.

강도 II는 Surigao del Norte의 Dapa에서 보고되었습니다. Hilongos 및 Baybay City, Leyte; 및 샌프란시스코, 남부 레이테.

[10.3] A magnitude 5.1 earthquake hits Surigao del Norte.

MANILA – A magnitude 5.1 earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Monday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

In a bulletin issued at 5:04 p.m., Phivolcs said a tectonic earthquake struck 29km in the northeast of General Luna city at 4:07 p.m.

The seismic intensity was recorded as 4.8 at 15 km.

Intensity IV was felt at General Luna in Surigao del Norte and Intensity III in Surigao City, Surigao Del Norte.

Intensity II was reported at Dapa in Surigao del Norte; Hilongos and Baybay City, Leyte; and San Francisco, Southern Leyte.

Phivolcs also recorded intensities for the following instruments:

Intensity III - Surigao City, Surigao Del Norte

Intensity II - Mahaplag, Abuyog, and Baybay City, Leyte; San Francisco, Southern Leyte

Intensity I - Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte; Kalilangan, Bukidnon; Carigara, Hilongos, Dulag, and Alangalang, Leyte; Santo Niño, South Cotabato; Saint Bernard and Sogod, Southern Leyte

Reported intensity is the traditional way of knowing intensity based on reports of people who felt an earthquake, and instrument intensity is measured using an intensity meter that measures ground acceleration.

Phivolcs said aftershocks areb possible, but no damage is expected from a magnitude 5.1 quake. (PNA)
