마닐라 - 6명의 중국인이 수요일에 추방된 전 필리핀 해외 게임 운영(POGO) 직원의 초기 배치를 구성했다고 법무부(DOJ)가 밝혔습니다.

[10.19] PH starts deportation of ‘overstaying’ Chinese POGO workers

MANILA - Six Chinese nationals made up the initial batch of former Philippine Overseas Gaming Operations (POGO) workers who were deported on Wednesday, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said.

In an update to justice Secretary "Jesus Crispin "Boying" Remulla," BI Commissioner "Norman Tansingco" revealed that the six were "Yu Min," 36 years old. "Nie Cheongpyeong," 31 years old. "Tansingco,"  meanwhile, said they have canceled the visas of 1,424 foreign nationals who worked for Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators whose licenses have been revoked by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

This figure is more than 48,000 POGO employees whose visas have been canceled.

"We have prioritized cancellations for people who have valid visas and are still in the country. We are cross-checking our databases to see which ones are still in the country." added.

"Tansingco" also said it included 1,424 names in its derogatory database, allowing them to downgrade their visas and leave the country within 60 days.

BI added that failure to leave the country within a set period would result in arrest and deportation proceedings.

"Tansingco" also promised to arrest and deport illegal aliens from the country.
